About
Welcome to Sun Rise & Dine Restaurant, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Brazil, Indiana. Located at 528 E National Ave #2634, this diner proudly serves up hearty, home-cooked meals that evoke the warmth of family dining and the comfort of nostalgia. With a mission to satisfy locals and travelers alike, Sun Rise & Dine offers a perfect blend of delicious food and an inviting atmosphere.
As I stepped through the door, I was greeted not just by friendly faces, but also by the delightful aroma of a busy kitchen dedicated to delivering meals made with love. The ambience here is nothing short of cozy, making it an ideal spot for everyone—families, friends, and solo diners looking for a warm meal.
Despite its long-standing presence, as noted by Bandit who suspects it will thrive for another 50 years, Sun Rise & Dine keeps its menu fresh and the quality high. Joseph Greene, a visitor from NYC, found it to be one of the best diners he had encountered while traveling, representing a true taste of Americana.
In every dish, you feel the heart of this restaurant—meticulous preparation and a commitment to quality. Be it the steak, praised by Pat O, or the generous portions that Gracie Godsey celebrates, you’re bound to find something to love.

“ It was my first time. The food was awesome, friendly atmosphere. I would recommend it. ”
“ Family friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Came here for breakfast on a weekday morning-- delicious home-cooked food. Can't recommend the skillets enough. Place has been here for a long time, and will probably stay for another 50 at least if they keep up this quality. Convenient location in the center of Brazil makes it easy to stop by for a bite, and the prices will keep you coming back again and again. I got the eponymous Sunrise Skillet, and my fiance got the Fajita Skillet (and adding his own blend of hot sauce and ketchup). ”
“ I am from NYC and finding a good diner is always difficult, especially when traveling. This was lovely, the staff was nice, and the food was just what we wanted. Only negative was Fox News on the TV. But we are in Indiana so it is to be expected. ”
“ The waitresses are sweethearts and attentive as soon as you all walk in the door. The menu choices are array of all delicious foods. It is definitely one of Brazil Indiana's finest restaurants. ”
“ Great food and very affordable. Had the Corned Beef Hash and Three Eggs with Hashbrowns and Rye Toast. Very tasty ”
